Brand: Trek Model: 5200 Short description: Classic Trek 5200 US Postal Al Frame size: 54 Description: After 5 years and finally a proper bike fitting done we realized this bike frame is too big for me. It spent most of its life with me as an indoor trainer - approx 120km per month between Dec and April since 2021, and prior to that approx 300km per summer between Jun and Oct. Previous owner used it in Triathlons and clocked around 10k Km. The original Shimano Tiagra shifters perished in summer 2022 and were replaced and upgraded to Shimano 105 R7000 shifters, This also meant changing from 9-speed to 11-speed. (Rear derailleur 11-28 tooth cassette, front chainring is 39-53 (great speed!). One problem is the 'new' shimano left-hand shifter has a flaw: it does not engage to shift the front derailleur. Hence, the bike is a one-by now (I keep it on the 53 tooth). All previous components will be included in case the new owner wants to use them on something else or wants to take it back to stock. Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheelset. I am willing to make a trade for another road bike size 48-50. Otherwise price is very slightly negotiable.
