Mavic Cosmic Carbone 40 Elite Wheelset

The Cosmic Carbone 40C Elite 700C Clincher Road Wheelset from Mavic has been built up using a carbon clincher rim laced onto the same extra smooth hubs used on the Mavic Cosmic Carbon SLE wheels.

The 40mm rim has been aerodynamically tested and optimized in the wind tunnel while the aluminium spine of the rim is there for strength to hold braking and air pressure making this rim one of the most desirable in its category. The hubs feature an aluminium body and axle with adjustable sealed cartridge bearings and a FTS-L Steel freehub. Teamed up with the Ykison Pro GripLink/PowerLink tyres, that are optimized specifically for front and rear use to give you the best combination of minimal rolling resistance and grip, this has opened up a new price point in the market for complete wheels.
