The Parkwood 27.5" mixes mid-sized 650b wheels with the Parkwood's stunning alloy frame design. We stretched and massaged the original Parkwood's trail capable geometry to create a bike that is considerably better than the sum of its parts. The Parkwood 27.5 is a little bit faster, a touch more rowdy and a whole lotta fun. With wheels slightly smaller than the 29'er, you get quicker steering, but because youre getting hoops slightly larger than standard 26'ers, you also get a great turn of speed which rolls over the terrain faster and with less jostling.

We've taken a bit off the back end and added length to the front of the 650b Parkwood so it's more stable, more flickable and easier to rail the turns. The shorter back end digs deep hunting for maximum traction, while the slacker front end helps maximise stability when the trails start pointing downwards. Kitted out with quality components from our range, your new Parkwood 27.5" will be ready to rock!

An asymmetric yoked chainstay offers huge tyre and chainring clearance. Its a simple, neat solution to an area of the bike that can get cramped. The bottom bracket shell is 68mm wide to allow compatibility a wide range of crankset options: from an ISCG 05 chainguide to older 3x9 chainsets, as well as modern 2x10 or 1x11 systems.

Weighing in at 1.76kgs (3.9lb) in a size medium, rated trail tough for 120mm suspension forks and passing all the EN 14766 tests with ease, this is a solid performing frameset at an amazing price.
